R.I.P Brad

I cannot believe Brad Renfro is dead.


What a shame. Crush ko pa naman yon when I was what, 12? I remember having this conversation with a schoolmate:

Me: Crush ko si Brad Renfro!
Friend: Akin na si Brad!
Me: Sayo nalang si Prince William, akin si Brad!
Friend: Ayoko! Sayo nalang si Prince William, akin si Brad!
Me: Akin sila pareho!

What can I say? 12-year old girls.

And now... Brad is dead! Oh Lord. I liked him a lot in The Client and Sleepers. That's all I can remember him by. And maybe The Cure. I never saw Apt Pupil. I hope he's the last of these young people to go by OD. I'm too young to remember River Phoenix, except in Indiana Jones' The Last Crusade and I never liked Jonathan Brandis. May these fellows rest in peace. I hope Devon Sawa's doing all right. I never really had a crush on him. Poor dude though, his career evaporated after Casper.
