So the girls, Carla and May, and I trooped to the Armin Van Buuren event last night at A-Venue along Makati Avenue. Nicole can't because she has this thing with the in-laws. Too bad! (It was so weird hearing her say "thing with in-laws." Like, huh you have in-laws??! Doh! Of course, she's married!) Anyway, so we had to get there early so May can get in for free. First 100 Motorola users get in for free kasi. Saw Gino and the brods, pati Blaise whom I haven't seen in ages.
At one point, some guy with a video camera asked us to say something about Armin Van Buuren and Big Fish. We were like, uhhh like what?!? Then he goes, anything, say Armin Van Buuren is great! I ended up saying something cheesy like "Big Fish rocks!!!!" with matching rock and roll hand gesture. Nyaaakkkkk!
AVB was fun, on the whole. Except for one thing.
The aircons got broken.
At first they were still working. We were even raving that A-Venue was better than Esplanade in Manila or even World Trade where Big Fish events are usually held. Then we started noticing that it was getting hotter and hotter by the second.
And thus began the sauna experience that was the Armin Van Buuren event. Ang init talaga pucha. Sweat was dripping off everybody' s faces. Hello dugyot people. By the end of the night, everybody was clutching water bottles, so mukha kaming nag E. And by the end of the night, I didn't even want to have our requisite pictures taken. Kadiri. Our hair was all over the place, our makeup was runny and basically we look like crap. Or at least I did.
Still, I enjoyed myself. AVB was great and the pyrotechnics were really spectacular. Big Fish really knows how to put on a show. Plus it's great hanging out with my friends and it's great seeing Gino and the other brods. Si Gino mukhang nag E because he was sporting his angas shades nanaman. Pero he swears hindi daw. Oh well. Buti naman. Just say NO to drugs! Haha! The girls and I went home early, mga 3. Di na namin kinaya yung init mehn. Ang hirap na huminga!
