Happy New Year!

So my first official act of the year is heading off Makati at 3 in the morning, to party with friends till dawn. After greeting the New Year with the family, without my brother for the first time, I went out with some friends. There were so many parties to go to that night. We were supposed to transfer to The Fort where the parties are just as kick-ass according to some friends, but we ended up staying in Ponti the whole time. It was so surreal. It was still so dark inside Ponti, like it was only midnight and there were still so many people dancing around. When we got out, hello sunshine! Hah! How's that for setting the tone for this new year?

(Incidentally, I drank so much I threw up along EDSA. Way to go Mia!!! Hanging over the side of my friend's car, throwing up all the stupid vodka drinks is not exactly my most grace-filled moment. Gawd. Free drinks galore will be the death of me I kid you not. My friends said, the trick to not puking is to master the art of puking before you actually feel like puking. Apparently, many girls induce vomiting before they actually feel like vomiting. Yaaaak, I don't think I can do that. Ummm how about mastering the art of not drinking too much? That's a better idea, yeah?)

It's my first time EVER in my whole life to go out during New Year's Eve. I was having such a good time and the drinks just kept on coming and I wasn't driving anyway, so yan ang nangyari hehe. Seriously though, I feel this new year will be FANTASTIC. I feel it. Last year, I felt 2007 will be difficult. And it has been. This year, I think, will be a good year for me. 2007 was difficult, but it was good that way because I did so much growing up (obviously I need more growing up to do ehehe). 2008 will be super super awesome. Indeed, if last night's events are any indication, this will at least be an interesting year.

So with that....

HAPPY NEW YEAR FOLKS!
Have a blessed blessed year ahead!
