Thriller Nights at Embassy

"Mukha syang Jesus! Jesus na naka drugs!" Mark says above the din of noise.

That, ladies and gentlemen, is precisely how DJ Steve Aoki looks like. Jesus on drugs. Last December 12, I, May and Tanya headed off to the new Embassy at the fort to check out DJ Aoiki. Met up with Mark, Tanya's friend. I must say, ang gandaaaa ng bagong Embassy! So utterly swanky. Swanky staircase, swanky bathrooms. Even the wallpapers were swanky. The place was swarming with swanky people donned in their swanky attires waiting for the renowned DJ. Turnout wasn't bad considering it was a weeknight and people had office the next day. Except me, yehey! Ah, one of the benefits of finishing your Master's degree is that you have time for events such as these.

"Thrillleerrrr! Thriller nights!" booms DJ Aioki's remix which finally starts at 1 am. (May swears DJ Aoki smiled at her while he was on his way to the stage. Haha! Way to go!)

Oh thriller nights indeed! DJ Aoki had a great set! Tripping the sound fantastic. We went home at 230 am while the whole club was still packed. Bakit kase Wednesday?!? May slept over at my house and the next day she was up and about at 8 am, ready to go back to her teacherly(?!) duties after partying like a rockstar the night before.
