Launnch of SIP Magazine

Today I attended the launch of SIP Magazine, the first ever magazine for the cafe lifestyle. Milan, editor-in-chief and president of No Bounds Events and Publishing Company launched SIP Magazine at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, Emerald Avenue Ortigas. The event was attended by family, friends and sponsors of the event. It was a pretty intimate affair but I'd say it was a huge success.

Cheers Milan!!!!! I'm so proud of you! You really did it! You made it happen! I remember asking you what's next for you after the speed dating thing, and you said you wanted a magazine. Now there really IS a magazine! So congratulations to you and of course, congratulations also to Melai and Diane and the rest of the SIP Squad. Hoy ha, don't forget, I wanna be part of your beauty/lifestyle/fashion whatever team haha! Kahit walang bayad!

Incidentally...

I won 2 round trip tickets to Boracay via Sea Air!

Yahhoooooo!!! Nanalo ako sa raffle!

I think this is the first time I've ever won something. Isn't that sad? Haha thank you Lord!

The timing was perfect as I was bad trip the whole morning. I didn't sleep well. Massive back pains, punyetang scoliosis to. Painkillers weren't working. One good thing was that I managed to catch Amelie on ETC. Anway, so I was basically Ms. Simangot and Ms. Sungit before going to the event. Plus, plus, I didn't know what to wear. Seryoso, I was stuck just looking at my closet. Ano ba kasing sinusuot sa mga launch? Casual? Semi-formal? Ano? Usually I just grab a top, put on a pair of jeans and some high heels and I'm good to go. Ewan maybe I just wasn't functioning well or whatever, but at that moment, I couldn't friggin decide. Tsaka pag bad trip ako, I have this thing na kelangan medyo matino naman yung suot ko. Basta. But no, this morning I felt blah, I looked blah. Sinuot ko nalang yung yellow shoes ko para kahit pano naman di ako mukhang gusgusing bata masyado. Bahala na si Batman! Pati pagdating sa Coffee Bean, I couldn't decide what to order. Buti nalang mabait yung waitress and she repeated every single thing she said. I must've asked what else is available aside from iced mocha latte ten times. I ended up ordering, what else, iced mocha latte.

By that time, mejo ok na yung mood ko because Nikko was there and I really didn't want to be a killjoy on Milan's big day anyway. Then yahoo, surprise surprise, I won free tickets to Boracay!

Yes, this is a good day after all!

Hail to the (editor-in) chief, Milan! Congratulations also to Majen and Melai, SIP squad to the rescue!

Nikko, Milan's mommy dearest and GIBI shoes! One of the sponsors of the event was GIBI shoes. Kala ko pa naman give away mga sapatos, but no, hehe. Oh well. I got tix anyway! Yey!

Hooray for happy, cheery yellow shoes. Tsaka take note! May scarf yung bag ko! Haha! Last ditch attempt to look somesorta decent. And tingnan mo naman kami ni Solvie, kunwari coffee enthusiasts. But noooo I don't even like coffee. Props lang yung hawak kong kape, kay Nikko talaga yon. Haha. I only drink coffee during breakfast.
